Livelihood for women
Scholar Lab is dedicated to empowering women by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through product development and entrepreneurship. By leveraging local skills and resources, this initiative helps women establish income-generating activities, improve financial independence, and contribute to community growth. Women are equipped with training, tools, and market linkages to transform their potential into sustainable livelihoods.
- Challenge of Women’s Employment: Rural and underprivileged women often face barriers to employment due to lack of skills, resources, and access to markets. This limits their economic participation and household income.
- Product Development for Livelihoods: Scholar Lab supports women in developing relevant and locally viable products — such as handicrafts, textiles, agro-products, and sustainable goods — enabling them to generate steady income.
- Capacity Building and Training: The program provides training in technical skills, business management, and entrepreneurship, helping women gain confidence and market competitiveness.
- Community and Economic Impact: By supporting women entrepreneurs and self-help groups (SHGs), this initiative strengthens families, enhances community resilience, and promotes inclusive development.
Project Goal
